Second, is there a good site you recommend that describes what the option packages or stand alone options were that year? I have them memorized for an MB CLK, and can tell instantly what any car does or does not have. The VIN is in the lower right 1/3 of the photo. I can tell from the ad photos that is has the perforated leather, NAV, satin finish wood and the B&O stereo, but beyond that I'm clueless. The number is the cargo capacity, with a 900 cubic foot version supposed to come at some point. They either list every available option package that year or they are just a long list of all the standard stuff like "body color bumpers" and "ashtray." Is there a VIN decoder out there that will give me just the info on this car - basically like a build sheet? This VIN document filed with the NHTSA reveals that the Rivian delivery vans will simply be called the 700 Van and 500 Van (the 500 available in left and right hand drive). First, although there are a bunch of VIN decoders online, I cannot find one that actually tells me what this particular car has. Have you tried contacting BMW directly, or at least a dealership that gives half a damn, to see if they can.

Just like the 4cyl 4 speed manual 85 Ford Crustang that I used to have that Ford told me they didn't make.

I am looking at a 2014 A5 convertible (WAULFAFHXEN005535), but I'm coming from MB, so I'm at the bottom of the Audi learning hill. Re: Decode your BMW VIN including factory option list. UPDATE ON VIN CHECKS: Beginning on September 1, 2021, A Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) check is required before registering a vehicle if the title is.
